With a substantial portion of Bangladesh's population living in poverty, charitable donations are a customary practice among the privileged. Unfortunately, there are no platforms to facilitate donors to discover and contribute to charity projects in Bangladesh. Additionally, public trust in charity organizations has been declining, primarily due to numerous scandals that have rocked the sector.
To address these concerns, I undertook a mission to create "Daan Korun," an online platform to facilitate seamless connections between donors and charitable initiatives in Bangladesh.
The name "Daan Korun" is a Bangla phrase that translates to "Donate", encapsulating the platform's purpose of encouraging and enabling individuals to support meaningful causes in the country.
